What host product and operating system versions are supported?

The following are supported:

Windows
Host Host Version Operating System
Media Composer | Symphony / NewsCutter 8* 11 Windows 7 - 10 (64-bit)
7* 10 Windows 7 - 8 (64-bit)
6 9

 

Mac
Host Host Version Operating System
Media Composer | Symphony 8* Mac OS X 10.8 - 10.11 (64-bit)
7* Mac OS X 10.7 - 10.9 (64-bit)
6 Mac OS X 10.6 - 10.7 (64-bit)

If you have a cross-host license that works on several different hosts, check the License Compatibility Matrix tab to learn more about which hosts your license works with.

*NOTE: Sapphire v10 Builder requires Media Composer 7.04 through 8 to have full support (Media Composer 6.0 to 7.03 has reduced S_Effect and S_Transition functionality.)
