Sapphire 7.5 is not intended for Sapphire 7.0 users.
Sapphire 7.5 grants owners of Sapphire 9 the ability to work in a
mixed environment with Sapphire 7 systems.
Sapphire 7.5 uses the Sapphire 9 activation key, and not the Sapphire
7 serial number.
To uninstall:
* On Smoke on Mac, go to: /Applications/GenArtsSapphireSparks7.5/
and double click on "Uninstall Sapphire"
* On Linux, open a shell window, type su to become root and run the
following command: rpm -e genarts-sapphire-sparks7-7.500-1.x...
The software itself automatically checks for updates. To check
manually:

Yes, the different Sapphire versions get installed in different
directories, and can be on your system at the same time. However, the
names of the sparks are the same in both versions, which can lead to
confusion and workflow errors.
