What host product and operating system versions are supported?

The following are supported:

Windows
Host Host Version Operating System
Avid DS 11 Windows 7 (64-bit)
Media Composer / Symphony / NewsCutter 8 11 Windows 7 - 8 (64-bit)
7 10
6 9

 

Mac
Host Host Version Operating System
Media Composer / Symphony 8 Mac OS X 10.8 - 10.9
7 Mac OS X 10.7 - 10.9
6 Mac OS X 10.6 - 10.7

If you have a cross-host license that works on several different hosts, check the License Compatibility Matrix tab to learn more about which hosts your license works with.

NOTE: Sapphire v8 Builder requires Media Composer 7.04 through 8 to have full support (Media Composer 6.0 to 7.03 has reduced S_Effect and S_Transition functionality.)
