What is my System ID (SysID)?

The System ID uniquely identifies a particular computer. On Avid DS V7 and earlier this is the Dongle ID, which is the number printed on your dongle (usually in the form 8-XXXXXXXXXXXX). It can also be found by going to Help->About Avid DS in Avid DS. On Avid DS V8 and for all Avid DS RP licenses SysID is the MAC address of the Ethernet adapter. To find this do to Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt. In the window type: ipconfig/all. The Ethernet adapter physical address will be given in the form xx:yy:zz:aa:bb:cc.

If SpeedSix plug-ins are already installed you can also go to Start->Programs->SpeedSix->License ID to display the MAC address.
