Where do the presets and custom presets get saved to? And when working in a shared environment, how can I save the presets to a central location?

The default presets (.gp, .effect, and .transition files) are located in the following location:

  • On Windows: \ProgramData\GenArts\Sapphire\Presets\GenArts
  • On Mac: /Library/Application Support/GenArts/Sapphire/Presets/GenArts

The presets that you saved yourself are found in:

  • On Windows: /ProgramData/GenArts/Sapphire/Presets
  • On Mac: /Library/Application Support/GenArts/Sapphire/Presets

To change the location of where the presets are saved, go to the preset browser, click on "Edit" and then "Browser Settings". A dialog  will appear and allow you to view or change the preset folder locations. 

Note that if you change the preset folder location you will need to manually copy all of the .gp, .effect, and .transition files to the new location or they will not show in the preset browser.
